This is the last Will & Testament of me Catherine Dunn of Dullerton in the Parish of Donaghedy and County of Tyrone Spinster. I hereby revoke all former will or wills heretofore made by me. I do hereby will and direct that all my household furniture and chattels of every kind be sold and all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of the proceeds of said sale as soon after my decease as convenience will admit. I leave devise and bequeath unto Robert Bond Esq. of the City of Londonderry Merchant Francis J Porter of Donaghedy Second Presbyterian Minister and John Gilliott Stilwell of Arundal Street Strand London Navy Agents their heirs executors administrators and assigns all my funded property in the Government Stock of England amounting three thousand and fifty pounds (to hold the said sum with the proceeds of my furniture and chattels after paying my funeral expenses and just debts) unto the said Robert Bond Francis J Porter and John Gilliott Stilwell and the survivor of them and their heirs executors administrators and assigns of said survivor upon trust nevertheless and to & for the several uses intents trusts and purposes hereinafter mentioned and dividends of and concerning the same I will and direct that the dividends on thirteen hundred and fifty pounds of the Government Stock be paid to my brother Rear Admirable Sir David Dunn K C B of Rocklands in Devonshire England to be paid him half yearly as they become due (should he survive me) I order and direct that the sum of fifteen hundred and twenty five pounds be paid the children of my late niece Jane Bond share alike on their arriving at the age of twenty one respectively and in case of the death of any of the said children before arriving at the respective age of twenty one their share or shares to be divided amongst the surviving children of my said niece Jane Bond share alike and that the dividend on ₤850 say eight hundred and fifty pounds of said sum of fifteen hundred and twenty five pounds be applied during the life of my brother Admiral Sir David Dunn should he survive me and at his death the dividend on the full sum of fifteen hundred and twenty five pounds so ordered to be paid the children of my niece Jane Bond on their arriving at the respective age of twenty one be applied in finishing the education of said children I will and direct that the sum of fifteen hundred and twenty five pounds be paid to my niece Martha Porter share alike on their arriving at the age of twenty one respectively and in case of the death of any of her children before the age of twenty one their share or shares to be divided amongst the surviving children of my said niece Martha Porter and that the dividend on eight hundred and fifty pounds of said sum of fifteen hundred and twenty five pounds be applied during the life of my brother Admiral Sir David Dunn should he survive me and at his death the dividend on the full sum of fifteen hundred and twenty five pounds be applied in finishing the education of the said children of Martha Porter during their minority. It is my will and desire should any of the children marry during their minority without the consent and approbation of my Trustees their share or shares shall be divided amongst the children of the family to which said child belongs and I further will and direct that Catherine Porter and Margaret Catherine Bond children of my said nieces or the survivor of them arriving at the age of twenty one be paid over the Residuary Balance of any in the hands of my Trustees. If both children are alive the sum to be divided equally between them. And I nominate and appoint the said Robert Bond Francis J Porter John Gilliott Stilwell Executors of this my last Will and Testament. Appeared Personally James Rasson of Londonderry in the County of Derry in Ireland Gentleman and made oath that he is one the subscribed witnesses to the last Will and Testament now hereunto annexed of Catherine Dunn late of Dullerton in the Parish of Donaghedy in the County of Tyrone in Ireland Spinster Deceased who died on the thirty first day of August one thousand eight hundred and fifty one the said will bearing date the second day of November one thousand eight hundred and fifty.

And he further made oath that on the second day of November one thousand eight hundred and fifty aforesaid the said Testatrix duly executed her said will by signing her name at the foot or end thereof in the presence of him the deponent and of Andrew Dunn the other subscribed witness thereto both of whom (to wit this deponent and his said fellow witness) were present at the same time and this deponent and the said Andrew Dunn thereupon attested and subscribed the said will in the presence of the said Testatrix and also of each other – James Rasson

On the fourteenth day of November one thousand eight hundred and fifty one the said James Rasson was duly sworn to the Truth of this affidavit by virtue of the Requisition hereto annexed before me – George Smyth surrogate of the Diocese of Derry ://-

 

Proved at London 20th November 1851 before the Judge by the oath of Robert Bond Esquire and the Reverend Francis James Porter two of the Executors to whom admon. was granted having first been sworn by Commission only to Administer Power reserved of making the like Grant to John Gilliam (in the Will written John Gilliott) Stilwell the other Executor when he shall apply for the same.
