STRABANE MORNING POST:

June 16, 1829

Died at his own house, in this town, on Friday the 12th instant, the REV. WM. POLLOCK aged 46 years, formerly a native of Swanlinbar. He travelled 13 years a Preacher in the Wesleyan Methodist Connection, a zealous and faithful Minister of Christ; he bore a lingering illness with fortitude and resignation, and died a witness of the doctrine he preached, “Justification by Faith in Christ Jesus, and hopeful of Immortality.”
