Coolermoney (Backside Toward the Shrubbery) is a 307-acre townland within Leckpatrick parish in north Co. Tyrone. Located three kilometres north of Artigarvan, Coolermoney belonged to the small Hall Estate. A small collection of documents relating to this estate has survived (including the 1751 will of John Hall, a 1772 marriage settlement between Thomas Chambers of Londonderry and Mary, daughter of John Hall, a lease of 1775 from William Hall of London, Thomas Bond of Ballycallaghan and Thomas Chambers of Londonderry to Joseph and John Morton of Coolermoney and a rental of 1775) and may be consulted at PRONI, 66 Balmoral Ave., Belfast.
