Photo taken in 1902 of the four sons of Hans Beresford Fleming, M.D.
and his wife Emily Beatrice French - George William, Hans
F., James Greer and Percy Beresford. George and Hans became doctors while
Percy was a Lieutenant Colonel in the army. James, my grandfather, studied
engineering at Trinity College Belfast before travelling to India, Australia
and eventually New Zealand.
A side note is that we believe Emily Beatrice French was related to Percy
French the Irish songwriter (there are websites dedicated to his memory)
