Committed for the murder of ARTHUR O’BRINE at Pomeroy, on the 2nd June last - Those persons are three of the Police who were attacked in the fair of Pomeroy, and were obliged to fire on the mob in defence of their own lives, in consequence of which O’BRINE was killed, and several others wounded. The witnesses were sworn in Court, and sent before the Grand Jury, and after a deliberate Investigation, the Bills were ignored, and the prisoners were discharged by Proclamation |
