TYRONE ASSIZES HELD AT OMAGH JULY 1822
The Assizes for this county commenced at Omagh on Monday se’nnight - the Hon. JUSTICE JOHNSTON in the Crown Court, and the Hon. JUSTICE FLETCHER in the Record Court. The following Gentlemen were sworn on the Grand Jury:

For the murder of MICHAEL McBRINE, at Dromore, in the month of December last - trial postponed by the Crown, the principal witness for the prosecution having been arrested, with others, in Armagh, as delegates from illegal societies, and transmitted to Dublin. The above prisoners were admitted to bail to appear at next assizes |

There were 23 persons convicted for practices connected with illicit distillation. Such as submitted, were sentenced to pay a fine of £2 to the King, or imprisoned one month, and pay a fine of £2 to the King, or in default of payment, to be imprisoned one month from the expiration of the first month’s imprisonment
