James Kelly, of Killyblught, a respectable farmer, had been in Derry. When returning with his cart , loaded, at one of the great hills at Altmover Glen, his horse became restive while descending on the Ballyhargan side, and not withstanding every effort from the unfortunate owner, he dashed the cart over the precipice, and so injured Mr. Kelly that he only survived a few hours in great agony. The evidence disclosed that the deceased, while going on an errand to a house at some distance, on Wednesday evening previous, had mistaken her road, the night being dark, and fell over a bank some ten or twelve feet high.
