On Thursday evening, the 25th inst., of a rapid decline, in the 46th year of his age, Mr. John Aberdeen, Commander of the new steam packet, the Robert Napier. His remains are to be interred in Belfast, and tomorrow morning, at nine o'clock, will be removed thence from the East Parade, City Wall.

On Thursday, John Craig, glazier, and James Brown, labourer, were executed in front of the Court Houses in Paisley, Scotland. They were convicted of breaking into the house of Mr. Robertson, bleacher, at West Foxbar, near Paisley, on the 14th June, and causing him and his sister violence, and theft of articles of value. Craig left a wife and 3 children, and Brown a wife and 7 children. Previous to coming to Johnstone, a year ago, working as a labourer, Brown had kept an inn at Newtownards, Craig had resided in Johnstone for a period of 9 years.

On the 1st June, at Cregagh, near Crossgar, of consumption, in his 28th year, William Brown, Esq., Seneachel of Kilmore, leaving a wife and young family to deplore their loss. For several years past he had filled the office of District Master of the Orangemen. The funeral procession, which occupied nearly a mile in extent, was proceded by a band of music, and accompanied by 42 flags of Orange lodges, about 5,000 Orangemen, walking four deep, and by nearly 1,000 gentlemen and farmers on horseback.

On the 18th March, in Mary Street, aged 32 years, Thomas, the eldest son of the late Thomas Butler, of this City, who, it will be remembered, was declared heir at law to the vast property (£300,000), of the late Patrick Marsh Esq. of York Street, Belfast. Through want of means he was obliged to resign his just claims; and although the sum of £10,000 was left for the especial purposes of charity, he was allowed to sink, broken hearted, into an untimely grave.
