The parish of Tullyniskan contains the townlands of Aghakinsallagh Glebe, Ballymenagh, Blacktown, Bloomhill Demesne, Coalisland, Creenagh, Cullion, Curran, Derry, Derrywinnin Glebe, Doras, Drumard, Drumey, Drumreagh Etra, Drumreagh Otra, Edendork, Farlough, Glencon, Gortgonis, Gortin, Gortnaskea, Mineveigh, Mullaghmarget, Quintinmanus, Sessia, Stughan, Whitetown, Woodhill.

There are several newspaper cuttings, including the following on the unveiling of a memorial tablet in honour of the men from the parish who served in World War I. I can't read the name of the newspaper, but the date appears to be February 26th, 1921.

A mural tablet, inscribed with the names of sixteen men from the Parish of Newmills, who made the supreme sacrifice in the great war, was unveiled in the Newmills Parish Church with befitting solemnity by his Grace the Lord Primate on Sunday afternoon.

The crowded congregation included a detachment of the Special Constabulary, under the command of Captain Maynard. The service opened with the singing of "O God our help in ages past," and evening prayer was recited by Rev. Gordon Scott, M.A. the special lesson was read by Rev. H. Egerton, rector of Donaghmore. The tablet, which was draped with the Union Jack, was then unveiled by his Grace, who offered up the dedicatory prayer, after which the National Anthem was heartily rendered. At the conclusion of his address his Grace said the parish of Newmills had achieved a high record in the war, and both men and women had worked with wonderful self-sacrifice to win the victory.

Seventy-eight men from the parish and district had volunteered and faithfully served their King and country. Sixteen made the supreme sacrifice. Amongst the number was Private Morrow, V.C. He had gained the highest honour it was possible to bestow on any member of the King's Forces, and they were all proud of his achievement. The distinctions included two awards of the D.S.O., while the French Government awarded the Croix de Guerre to two members of the parish. One also received the Military Cross, one the Military Medal, four were mentioned in despatches, and two gained commissions from the ranks. The honours awarded showed the fibre of the men of the Newmills parish.

Appended is the inscription on the tablet erected in the Newmills Parish Church.
