O’NEILL. The funeral of another old colonist in the person of MR. OWEN O'NEILL took place on Thursday afternoon and was attended by a large number of relatives and friends. The deceased, who was 68 years of age, was born at Dungannon, County Tyrone, Ireland. He arrived in Victoria in the year 1860 and was one of the pioneers at Stringer's Creek in that date. He afterwards went to New Zealand and Queensland and arrived in Bunbury 20 years ago. For the past 16 years he carried on business at Coolgardie and Kalgoorlie. A widow, three sons, and three daughters survive him. The cortege moved from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception at 2.30 p.m., where the first portion of the burial service was conducted by the Rev. Father Maloney, and proceeded to the Roman Catholic Cemetery at Karrakatta, where the remains were laid in the family grave, the Rev. Dr. O'Hurley, officiating. The chief mourners were Mrs. A. F. O'Neill (widow), Messrs. Percy, Con., and Steve O'Neill (sons), Mrs. T. O'Toole and Miss Agnes O'Neill (daughters), Mr. Toby O'Toole (son-in-law), Mr. John Quigley and Mr. N. THE LATE MRS. MOORE The sympathy felt towards the REV. CANON R. H. MOORE, M.A, rector of Fremantle, was almost universal when it was made known that his wife, MRS. INA MOORE, had passed away in the early morning of Wednesday last, the 23rd instant The deceased-lady had been a patient sufferer from an incurable complaint for the last eighteen months. Owing to her generous and kindly nature, she was not only highly respected, but loved by all who knew her. She was one of the few possessed of a charming disposition that makes no enemies. MRS. MOORE was born at Coagh, Tyrone, Ireland, and in 1901 the White Star liner Suevic made her maiden voyage and brought her to this State to be married to the Rev. Canon R. H. Moore, then the Rev. Moore. The marriage ceremony was performed at Boulder by the present Bishop of Bunbury, then the Dean of Perth. She remained at Boulder for four years where she cheerfully put up with all the discomforts of the goldfields and lived in a hessian house. The Rev. Canon Moore was then transferred to Northam, where they remained for five and a half years, and where deceased was Secretary of the Mothers' Union during the whole of that period. A little over five years ago, Canon Moore was called to take up duties at St. John's Church, Fremantle, rendered vacant by the departure of the late Rev. Canon Barton-Parkes' for Taiping, Perak, Federated Malay States. The chief mourners were: Rev. Canon R. H. THE LATE MRS W.J. BORWICK: Much empathy is extended to MR. W. J. BORWICK, of the Swan Hotel, North Fremantle, in the loss he has sustained through the death of his wife, ANNIE MARY ELIZABETH who passed away on the 9th inst. at the early age of 39 years. Mrs. Borwick was well known and highly respected, and her genial and kindly disposition endeared her to many. The deceased, who was born in Co. Tyrone, Ireland, had been a resident of this State for the past 12 years. One juvenile daughter survives her. The funeral, which took place on Friday afternoon, the 10th inst., was very largely attended. THE LATE MR. STEWART CAMPBELL There passed away on the 2nd .inst, a very old colonist in the person of the late MR. STEWART CAMPBELL. Eighty years ago Mr. Campbell was born in County Tyrone, Ireland. In 1866 he came to this State in the ship Palestine with his wife, who predeceased him 24 years ago. In the Geraldton district the deceased was familiarly known and respected being one of the early pioneers there. A grown-up family of sis daughters, 17 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren survive him. The funeral, which took place on Monday afternoon, the 3rd inst., was attended by many friends. The cortege, moved from the residence of his son-in-law, Mr. T. A. Jones, Victoria Road, East Fremantle, and proceeded to the Fremantle Cemetery, where the remains were laid to rest in the Church of England portion. The chief mourners were Messrs. T. A. FUNERAL: The Late MR. W. J. L W. BREALEY. The funeral of the late MR. WILLIAM JOHN REDCLIFFE WHITEHEAD BREALEY, who passed peacefully away on January 17 took place in the Church of England Cemetery, Karrakatta, on January 1 and was well attended. Deceased was born at Moy. County Tyrone, Ireland and had resided in this State 38 years. He was educated at All Saints’ School London and arrived in Melbourne at the age of 18 years. He was there associated in the Iron founding industry, being employed as accountant with Messrs. Cochrane and Scott. Arriving in Perth, he became associated with the firm of Metters Ltd., with which he remained to his death, except for a break of service from 1911 to 1924. During that period he was in business under the firm name of Brealey and Manley. His was an active life as he was closely associated with Chamber of Commerce and Commercial Travellers' Association and during the Great War was an active member of the Ugly Men's Association. He leaves a widow and family of two daughters and four sons to mourn their loss. At the conclusion of an impressive service conducted by a close friend of the deceased for many years in the person of the Rev. A. H. Tassel, his remains were laid to rest. The chief mourners were Mrs. Ellen Brealey (widow), Nellie and Millicent (daughters), Edward, Wilfred, Hereward and Herbert (sons), Messrs.
