Bella STAPLETON, for robbing the house of John CARNEY, to be hanged, but she was with child. Dennis MURRAY, to be transported for stealing clothes from the bleach field of James FIELD. Valentine DEVATT to be whipped for picking pockets. James KEATING to be pillored and imprisoned for riot and assault on a watchman. John ROBINSON, to be burned in the hand for manslaughter. Roscommon, near Ballinasloe, an armed mob went to the house of Malacky FALLEN and
there shot and killed Adam SHARPY of Knockhall and John GORDON, a servant of Mr. FALLEN
(and mortally wounded others). Patrick DOWN and John FLANAGAN were apprehended at Grangemore near Ballinasloe and gaoled in Loughrea; they were to be taken to Galway. Fri. Oct. 20, 1780 Dublin, Oct. 17. The Aurora, Simmons, from Dublin to Liverpool, was driven ashore on the coast of Wales yesterday
fo'night; Capt. COOKE (owner of the vessel), a Mrs. SHANNON, the mate, and two boys were among the dead. Tues. Oct. 24, 1780 Dublin. The body of Edward DWYER, revenue officer, was found near the Custom house;
he had been missing for fourteen days after a disagreement with the captain of a Portugese vessel. Fri. Oct. 27, 1780 Kilkenny, Oct. 18. At the assizes: Gerald BYRNE, Patrick STRANGE, and James STRANGE were found guilty of carrying
away Miss Catherine and Miss Ann KENNEDY, with the intent that BYRNE and James STRANGE should marry them;
they were to hang on December 2. [See No. 888.] Michael BLENHAM, for stealing a bullock belonging to John LALOR, to hang Dec. 2. John MULLOWNEY, for killing and skinning a calf, to steal the skin, to hang on Nov. 10. Patrick KELLY, guilty of a felony on the White Boy act. to hang Nov. 10. Dublin. Horse on Dec. 24 and is supposed to have gone to near Omagh, where he has some relations. Tues. Jan. 16, 1781 Londonderry. Ads: William DUNN, age about 20, born in the parish of Ballyachran near Coleraine, Co. Derry,
deserted from the 3rd Horse on furlough. Fri. Jan. 19, 1781 Tralee. The following soldiers of the 52nd Regiment were gaoled by Richard Blenerhasset, coroner,
for murder; John M'LAUGHLIN, Hugh WATERS, John DUKE, Peter O'NEAL, Thomas WHITE,
Henry DOHERTY. Those murdered were
Florence SULLIVAN, Danny SULLIVAN, Denis SULLIVAN, Daniel M'CARTHY, and Florence M'GILLICUDDY,
all of Kilgarven in Glenerough, on December 20. Sergeant BELL and private David WHITE escaped. Fri. Feb. 2, 1781 Londonderry. Died; Friday last, Mary, relict of Patrick TOY, late of this city. Tues. Feb. 6, 1781 Londonderry. Pat. M'Bride at Ballygawly in 1779, are to die April 4. At the Derry assizes, William Gibson, sergeant, and Peter Ryan, private, of the marines,
were found guilty of extorting money from Nola Farren, wife of Dennis Farren, who had
enlisted in said corps. Tues. April 9, 1782 Londonderry. Married: at Castleton near Strabane, John Coningham of this city to Miss Elizabeth Campbell,
sister of the late Robert Campbell of Isia [Scotland]. Tues. April 16, 1782 Dublin, April 11. 1782 Wednesday fortnight ended the assizes at Armagh; Alexander and James Toulerton, father
and son, were found guilty of the murder of John Maneely April, 1783 wife of James M'Crea of Donaghedy; Sunday at Burt, Hugh Gay, aged 77 years; James Osborne, innkeeper. Bishops gate. Tues. April 15, 1783 Belfast, Apr. 11. At the Down assizes: Pat. Gordon or M'Gurnaghan is to be executed Thursday the 17th
next at Drumbridge; Stephen Gordon or M'Gurnaghan is to be executed at Castlewellan on Monday next, the 14th,
both for stealing linen; George Brown is to be executed at Down in June for stealing linen;
John Wright is to be executed at Banbridge for stealing linen cloth there; John Holmes (?) is to be executed at Downpatrick on July 11 for receiving stolen goods; Edward Higgins and Ross Slatford (?) are to be executed at Downpatrick for burglary. Londonderry. At the assizes here, William M'Mahon was found guilty of stealing a web of linen from a shop
in this city and is to be executed on July 2; during the trial is wife and brother were
detected picking pockets. Died: yesterday, Alexander Major, Tullybrislan, near Muff in Co. Derry. Ads: The brig Congress, William Chevers, from Newry for Philadelpha, passengers are
to board the 25th. Tues. April 22, 1783 Londonderry. A man named Porter, his two sons, and his brother were killed by a party of soldiers when he
tried to recover his illegal still which they had taken, between Killygordon and Convoy
in Co. Donegal. His brother-in-law and cousin were among the wounded. Later, near Strabane a man
