Marriage, 2nd Presbyterian Church, Omagh, Co. Tyrone, 29 Jan 1859 of Thomas Caldwell, a schoolmaster, son of James Caldwell, a farmer to Jane McGown, dtr of Thomas McGown.  Both parties full age.  Thomas McGown a farmer.  (Source: Church Registers, PRONI).  This couple emigrated to Australia, 10 Oct 1860 with their first child, Mary, aboard the ship, British Trident, from Liverpool.  (Emigration info from descendant, Bill Caldwell, in Australia, who has assembled a great deal of documentation, as well as some photographs).
