1st Ballynahatty Presbyterian Church, Drumragh Parish Marriages 1845-59
REGISTRATION DISTRICT OF OMAGH
Extracted from various FHL films of Civil Registration of Marriages in Ireland

Transcribed, Compiled and Submitted by Len Swindley, Melbourne, Australia

1st Ballynahatty congregation was formed in 1805 when Presbyterians in the area separated from Omagh, the first minister being the REV. JOHN WATSON who was ordained in 1807.

Early surviving records of this congregation have been microfilmed by PRONI:

Baptisms, 1843-1968; marriages, 1845-1936; PRONI Ref: MIC1P/97

The condition of the original records and quality of filming have made transcription challenging, and where possible the Drumragh tithe applotment book (1830) and Griffiths Valuation (1858) have been consulted for confirmation of families and townland addresses
